It’s not good bye friend. It’s til I see you again. JD you were an awesome friend, I’ve been at a loss for words since hearing of your passing. I had so much I wanted to talk to you about like the “good” old days. I have yet to find a best friend as genuine as you were. You can bet when it warms up... I will be out at the lake with a fishing pole and an ice cold Coors Light. I bet we have caught hundreds of Bass together. Heck I may even kick it back old school and listen to some sir mix a lot... now that brings back some memories. You my friend are the most selfless person I have ever known. I remember when your sis was younger, you wouldn’t do anything without making sure she was ok and taken care of. I respected that! Not to mention you always checked on your mom and grandmother every chance you got. I can’t even begin to imagine how either of them 2 wonderful women are handling this tragedy. I remember every morning we would go to your grandmas house for some good ole coffee and breakfast. Life happened later on in life and we went our separate ways as life usually guides friends. We have chatted here and there but work and family and states have kept us from hanging out. You were a great friend and an awesome father to your children. I’ve never met anyone that could say they didn’t like you bro. Until I see you again JD
